Conversation Mode
Kin's voice-first feature enables users to engage in natural conversations without the need for a traditional UI. Users can simply speak to Kin as if they were talking to a friend, receiving real-time guidance, feedback, and insights. This creates an intuitive, hands-free experience that blends seamlessly into their daily routine, whether they're commuting, working, or relaxing. It empowers users to focus on their thoughts and actions while Kin handles the interaction flow effortlessly.
To search kins memory, in mind map. I like looking in it's brain, but wish you could search to help filter the brain.
"Private conversation" mode
The ability to turn on "Private conversation" mode, which will let Kin not save anything outside of the session, not update mindmap etc once the mode is turned back off. Some topics are things that should not be repeated. Things that one don't want Kin to remind you, refer back to or just know about for beyond the current conversation. The topic might still be extremely relevant and important to get out of your system, and this would be the solution to achieve that.
Tone of voice with multiple pre prompts (personalities)
I use the Tone of Voice field to include complex personality prompts consisting of many paragraphs. These prompts tell Kin to role-play a completely new personality. I use several different personalities, depending on what I need from Kin at the time (e.g. supportive companion; counsellor/coach; killer-robot! etc.). I currently manage this by copying and pasting these prompts to switch between them. It would be helpful if the app could store several Tone of Voice selections that could be switched between, this would make switching between the personalities simpler. This is a different option to multiple separate Kin instances, because it ensures each personality still has access to the same core memories.

Being able to change the personal information that we feed to Kin
Hey Kin Team, I actually had a feature suggestion which is to be able to change the information that we feed to Kin in The basics, Social Life, Professional Life and Let's get personal section Currently we are able to make Kin know us a little more on all these aspects of us, however we are unable to change this info in case we want to add some cool aspects of our life for Kin to know So I would suggest the Kin Team to maybe add a feature to change the information that we enter so as to make Kin even greater than it already is. Could you help us change our answers even if we say I don't want to answer this.
Ability to see the latest added knowledge
I want to be able to see when I added the latest knowledge to Kin.
Journaling feature
It must be possible to write journals in Kin, meaning texts that are longform and is not necessarily triggering any conversation from Kin. User input: I gave up on Pi because even though they advertise the “keep a journal” feature on their website I found out it was not really true.. After a few minutes it struggled to remember basic things and when I asked for how long it remembers what I chat about, it answered (after I really insisted on a direct answer) that it remembers things for 90 days currently. That could be enough for simple things or maybe small projects. but I want to keep my memories and stuff I write about for way longer than that. I also keep a journal on day one, but I really like the idea of having and AI assistant that can help me remember random things I chat about. For now. Kin seems to be miles ahead on that department, with the backup feature I feel like it could actually be achieved. Pi only suggests that you copy and paste the conversations on a google doc. lol. Like it was 2005 or something.
